The basic eligibility to pursue M.Stat. course is that the students should have completed their graduation in a relevant field from a recognized college. Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 55% or its equivalent CGPA.

Selection for admission to this program is based on performance in written admission tests and subsequent interviews. Few colleges also conduct the admission process through marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying examinations.
