The Bachelor of Economics BA or BSc is a three-year academic degree in the social sciences encompassing both theory and quantitative courses. Typical mandatory courses for the degree include but are not limited to microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, economic statistics, history of economic thought and political economy.
An Honours Bachelor of Economics (H.B.Econ.) degree is a 3-year degree. The degree usually requires academic courses with a research thesis component. After your undergraduate studies, you can pursue the postgraduate programs including Master of Economics, Master of Financial Economics, Masters in Agricultural Economics, Masters in Development Economics and Masters in International Economics.
SYLLABUS
B.A. Hons. Economics or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Economics is an undergraduate Economics course.
