# Acet Exam Preparation Plan

Basic structure

Overall as the exam is divided into 5 parts and each part has its fare share in the exam and the cut off in the exam is about 55 to 65 so an overall comprehensive approach is required.

With respect to Preparational requirement the sequence of studying can be subdivided in the following way

Mathematics >>Logical Reasoning >>Statistics >>Data Interpretation >> English .

Sections from where most questions come subject wise can be given in the following way::

Mathematics

Differentiation, Integration, algebra , graph based problems

Statistics

Dispersion, correlation regression , probability, distribution

Logical Reasoning

Date problems , blood relation, number series, analogy

Data Interpretation

Line chart, bar chart, pie chart application

English

Grammer, finding mistakes, meanings , opposi

PREPARATION SPECIFICATIONS

Work on the common and most repeated areas in the beginning and later move to advanced sections like date problems , faulty clocks, family tree

Then start working in Mathematics

First with on the basic algebra and then differential calculus and later to advanced application

Numerical analysis plays a crucial role in the entire examination so you need ro be extra careful for that.

Then work on Statistics and data Interpretation simultaneously as they are related and most of the topics in these two sections are common. Data Interpretation is nothing but a numerical application of statistics.

Later at the end start working with English. In English grammer plays the most important role in the exam. As most of the things in English you have already done before so it will be easier to get a grip. Along with grammar you need to concentrate on the parts like error finding and techniques on analogy also.

SPECIAL TIPS

1. Every week you need to give at least 2 tests section wise . You can choose any 2 of the sections

Later it will proceed in cumulative way

2. Special concentration in working with scientific calculators like casio fx 82ms or techs instruments

3. Working on a comprehensive approach for the entire exam throughout

4. Practice working on big analytical questions also .
