ABOUT THE COURSE

Law School Admission Test (LSAT)-India is a paper-pencil test conducted across the country by Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The test is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate level law programmes in various law schools in India.

LSAT India is being conducted across 20 test cities in India. LSAT India exam pattern is such that aspirants have to attempt multiple-choice questions in a duration of 2 hours and 20 minutes. The number of colleges accepting LSAT India was limited to 50 till 2014. In 2015, 10 colleges were added to the list and in 2016 this number was further increased to 74. Further, on the basis of LSAT India 2017 scores more than 76 colleges offered admission to aspirants in under-graduate as well as post-graduate law programmes. In 2018 more than 85 law schools will accept LSAT India scores for admission.

ELIGIBILITY

Aspirants seeking admission in five-year integrated LLB programme are eligible to apply if they have cleared or appeared for their 10+2 level exam. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission in three year LLB course should have secured a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria (if any) as listed by the law college wherein they are applying for admission on the basis of LSAT India exam. It is the responsibility of the aspirant to fulfil all the eligibility requirements of a college they are applying for before registering for the LSAT India 2018 exam. If a candidates make it to the merit list of the LSAT exam and thereafter it is discovered that the candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria of a desired college, then no refund of fee shall be provided.

EXAM PROCESS

Step 1: Fill LSAT India 2018 Application Form

Registration for LSAT India 2018 can be done by logging on to the official website of the college at lsat.formistry.com. Candidates can download and fill the LSAT India application form on the official website of the exam. To do this, aspirants need to register with an email ID which is to be used in further proceedings of LSAT India exam.

Step 2: Download LSAT India Admit Card

LSAT India card candidates can download their admit card from the official website, no separate admit card will be sent by post to candidates. The admit card would contain the candidate's registration number which will be unique for each aspirant. All candidates will have to download.

Step 3: Give LSAT India Exam

Candidates need to appear for LSAT India exam at their test centre (as mentioned on their admit card for LSAT India exam. The sections included in the LSAT India exam paper include - Analytical Reasoning, First Logical Reasoning, Second Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

Step 4: Check LSAT India Result

Aspirants need to check their result for LSAT India exam on the official website of the exam. Candidates would need to use their registration credentials to check their score in LSAT India exam. LSAT India result or score is declared in the form of LSAT percentiles which is calculated after comparing each candidate’s performance with others in their (candidate) group. LSAT India scores define the critical thinking skills of a candidate as compared to other aspirants in his/her candidate pool.
